I am writing on behalf of my detatchment in Afghanistan to thank you and the staff of HMP Liverpool for the welfare packages you sent out to us.

We are a 3 person detatchment on a Dutch camp in Tarin Kowt,Uruzgan. As we are the only British personnel on site we have limited welfare facilities, and this makes your kind gestures all the more well recieved. It is a great comfort to know we are in the thoughts of the people back home so can you please pass on our thanks to everyone for their contributions.

kind regards

Message: To all the Staff at H.M.P. Liverpool,

On behalf of The Military Working Dog Support Unit based in Camp
Bastion, Helmand Province, Afghanistan, I would like to express our true
thanks for the welfare package you recently sent to the unit.

The work out here that the men and women of the corps undertake is
physically demanding and extremely difficult in such hot and dusty
conditions. Moral is always lifted when they return to the restroom from
operations and have parcels to open - it really does prove to the guys
that the public back home our fully behind them.
I would also like to compliment the work of the Parade Fund - I think
it is an excellent organisation and I have enjoyed exploring your
Thanks again,
Kind Regards from all at TMWDSU,
